Strawberry & Avocado Salad + Basil Vinaigrette

Ingredients

For the Salad:

  • Spinach
  • 1/2 Avocado (sliced or cubed)
  • 4-5 Strawberries (sliced)
  • Almonds (slivered)

For the Basil Vinaigrette:

  • 1 Cup Basil (fresh)
  • 1/2 Cup EVOO
  • 1/2 Shallot
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 3 Tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Agave
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  • Start by making the vinaigrette - add all ingredients to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth!
  • Build the salad starting with the greens and adding all the toppings!
  • Finish with the Basil Vinaigrette!
