Natural Berry Jam

You only need four natural ingredients to make this jam that's by far healthier and tastier than anything with an extended shelf life!

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Fresh Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or a mix of all three!)
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Liquid Syrup (maple syrup or agave)
  • 2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 Lemon (juiced)

Instructions

  • Add all the berries, water and liquid syrup to a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer for roughly 10-12 minutes until all of the berries breakdown.
  • Stir occasionally so nothing sticks and smoosh the berries to help break them down.
  • Once liquified remove from heat. Add the chia seeds and stir.
  • Let sit for 10 minutes until they have all expanded.
  • Top off with lemon juice and store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to a few weeks!
