Green Monster Smoothie

All the green goodies...one nutritional monster!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • Spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • Kale (fresh or frozen)
  • Cucumbers (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 scoop Vegan Protein Powder (I used vanilla flavored!)
  • 1 Tbsp Flax Seed (ground)
  • 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tsp Spirulina
  • Plant Milk
  • 1/4-1/2 Cup Non-Dairy Yogurt
  • 1/2 Banana (optional - fresh or frozen)

Instructions

  • In a blender add all of the frozen ingredients you chose with the plant milk and yogurt - blend until smooth
  • Add in any remaining ingredients and adjust the milk/yogurt balance as needed until you reach your desired consistency

Notes

My favorite plant-based products used in this recipe:
Vegan Protein Powder: PlantFusion Vanilla Bean (if you prefer another brand or flavor - trying sweetening the smoothie with a 1/2 or full date!)
Plant Milk: Good Karma Flax Milk
Non-dairy Yogurt: Forager Cashewmilk Yogurt or So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Yogurt
