Beet + Acai Smoothie

Break the fast with this vegetable loaded, fruit-forward smoothie!

Ingredients

  • Large Handful Spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • Large Handful Kale (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 Medium Beet (sliced)
  • 1/2 Banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 Cup Blackberries and/or Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 Packet Acai (frozen)
  • 1/4 Cup Plant-based Yogurt
  • 1/2 - 1 Cup Plant-based Milk (depending on your desired consistency)
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla Vegan Protein Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Flax Seeds (ground)
  • 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • Dash Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Decide which ingredients you'll use frozen vs. fresh and add to your blender with the plant yogurt and milk.
  • Once smooth - add the remainder of the ingredients.
  • Depending on what consistency you like best - add in a touch more milk or a few ice cubes if needed.
  • Pour, sip and enjoy :)
