MAJU Superfoods Black Seed Oil

Black Seed Oil is a health supplement that has been gaining popularity and recognition for its wide range of potential therapeutic health benefits. The oil is pressed from the seeds of Nigella sativa – an annually flowering shrub native to southwest Asia.

Nigella sativa (aka Kalonji Oil) is packed with powerful nutrients such as omegas, amino acids, and antioxidants that can help unleash a youthful appearance and vibrant energy. Black Seed Oil in general is heart healthy and supports digestion. Maju’s oil has a more powerful array of omega 3, 6, & 9, which helps support the body’s cardiovascular health and is also known to support regulation of metabolism and to soothe digestive processes.

Key Compounds:

Thymoquinone: This is one of the most important chemical compounds within Black Seed Oil. Studies have shown it has hepatoprotective & antioxidant effects (Mohammad Khader 2014). This may make the body stronger, and more resilient to everyday stress. * We confirm the potency of our oil by using High Performance Liquid Chromatography to test each batch for the essential chemical compounds that make it so powerful. A Short History:

Black Seed Oil has been used medicinally for thousands of years to treat various health conditions and to reap its health benefits. In fact, historians believe that even King Tut, Cleopatra, and Hippocrates used black seed all those many years ago. It’s also believed royal figures like Cleopatra and Neftali used the oil in their skincare routines, beautifying baths, and as medicinal applications.

How Long Will They Last?

Short answer: AWHILE.

I love having a few whipped up and on hand because I’m also not always so organized. I have 15 or so minutes to eat a nutritious meal and no minute can go to waste. I grab all of my miscellaneous salad ingredients in my fridge and pantry, and then I have a nutritious salad dressing ready to go. It brings all of the flavors together and I am left happy and healthy.

The only catch is that any that use a fruit or veggie need to be stored in the fridge. But you still have at least a two-week, if not longer, shelf life because of the vinegar. Oil and vinegar based dressings can sit out at room temp for…months!
